Parking & Accessibility at FPCA

Parking for visitors on Sunday morning and throughout the week is available in the upper parking deck, accessed from the lot entrance on Aston Street.

Other parking, including handicapped-accessible parking, is available in the lower lot, also accessed from the lot entrance on Aston Street. FPCA parking is also available in the numbered spaces at 46 Aston St., just a few minutes’ walk from the front doors of the sanctuary.

During the week, parking in the lower lot and at 46 Aston St. is open to the public for a fee, and available at no charge to FPCA members who display a parking decal.

Which Door Should I Use?

**The main entrance to the church is the Wallace Foyer entrance off of Aston Street, with first-time visitor parking in the upper parking deck.**

You can also enter the church from the lower parking lot entrance, and take the elevator or stairs to the ground level.

The Wallace Foyer entrance is also the weekday entrance for meetings or events. The door is usually locked on weekdays for security purposes, however there is a bell on the door if you need access to the building.

On Sunday mornings, you can also enter from the Memorial Garden door on Church Street, or the Church Street doors leading into the sanctuary or chapel.

Off-Site Parking Available on Sundays

We know that parking in downtown Asheville can be a bit challenging at times. Here are some nearby options for Sunday mornings.

The Biltmore Avenue Public Parking Garage located under the Aloft Hotel often has available space, especially on Sunday morning. The cost of parking at the garage is free if you leave within the first hour, otherwise it’s $2 for the first hour, plus $2 for each additional hour or partial hour.

The Drhumor Lot, 26 Patton Ave. and #2 on our map, at the corner of Patton Ave. and Lexington Ave., is free parking to FPCA church members and visitors, from 7 am to 1 pm on Sundays.

The First Bank Lot, 41 Patton Ave., Lot #3 on our map, right beside the Drhumor Lot, is also free parking to FPCA church members and visitors, from 7 am to 1 pm on Sundays.

For the First Bank Lot located on Commerce St., Lot #4 on the church’s map, please note that free parking is only in the upper level. The lower level is now paid parking and is not free to the church.

Street parking is free on Sundays.
