This is the 33rd year that, together with other faith communities, FPCA is building a house for a deserving family. Shown below is a thank-you note from last year’s family.

Faith Build #6 is beginning in October. The walls will be built in the warehouse — Doug Trump has organized a team to do this. The walls will be erected, and framing (floor, roof trusses, and porches) will be finished at the jobsite from November through December. Interior work will be done after the New Year (more on that later).
Once again, you can help in two ways:
1. Help build a house during October and November. No skills or tools required. There are jobs for all skill levels (16 years and older). We have reserved two Saturdays and one Friday to accommodate those wanting to work during the week or on weekends.
- Saturdays: October 31st (4 slots) & November 14th (2 slots)
- Friday: November 20th (half day; 2 slots)
- If you would like to work any other day, there are slots available from Tuesday to Friday during November and December. Bill Winkler can help make arrangements.
2. Contribute a monetary gift. You can send a check to the church office or contribute online. Last year, we gave about $2,000!
Please help us build community. Contact Bill Winkler at life@fpcasheville.org for more information or to sign up for building days.
