Saturday Sanctuary

About

We are delighted to step back into the more hospitable and relational face-to-face ministry of a shared meal at lunchtime on Saturdays.

Saturday Sanctuary, a valuable ministry of FPC-A since 2009 opens our doors to our downtown neighbors from November through February. On Saturdays between 11: 00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., our fellowship hall becomes a hospitable space to welcome people in from the cold for food and connections. There is always a need for new folks to join a dedicated group of volunteers, to share time laughing and talking with and listening to neighbors, or behind the scenes preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals. Up to fifteen volunteers are needed each week (shifts 9:30 from to 3:00 p.m.) to help provide this valuable outreach mission. Co-chairs are Sandy Reid and Bill Winkler.
