Faith Formation Classes
Our Adult Faith Formation Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 am.
Faith & Fellowship Hall Class meets around tables with teaching by a variety of leaders and topics concerning faith and life. Often led by one of our pastors, this class offers a breadth of topics ranging from theology to connecting faith and current events. (Fellowship Hall)
Text Talk explores scripture from the morning’s worship service in more depth and helps participants learn to read, reflect, relate, and apply that scripture to our daily lives.. This class is led by retired seminary professor, Jane Vann. (Room 112)
Koinonia Small Groups
Small groups to support members in their faith life and to build Chrstian friendships.
Small groups of 8–10 people will meet regularly for prayer, spiritual practice, and meaningful conversation using a variety of resources. These groups foster community, growth, and spiritual friendship. Group launches happen usually in the fall and late January. Young Adult Ministry
The FPCA Young Adults group (formerly known as FLO – “Figuring Life Out”) is back… “Still FLO!”
This is a group of FPCA young adults and friends who gather monthly to hang out and have fun, build community, and grow in faith by having meaningful conversations about God, Scripture, and following Christ as a young adult in today’s world.
Our general pattern is to alternate months between fun/recreational activities and deeper/more purposeful gatherings for conversation (about a film, book, passage, or topic).
We are geared toward adults without children, in their 20s and 30s… but we are not exclusive! If you have children, or are outside that age range, and think this group may be for you. It is!
