Meals on Wheels of Asheville and Buncombe County provides freshly prepared, hot, nutritious lunchtime meals and daily visits to homebound seniors in Buncombe County. Through weekday meals and visits, we are able to provide these seniors with nourishment, companionship, and prolonged independence. A dedicated group of volunteers delivers these meals over a 660-square-mile radius through 40+ different meal delivery routes reaching over 500 seniors each weekday.
