Equal Plates Project sources top-quality ingredients from small, local farms in WNC and prepares scratch-made meals to share with communities facing complex food access barriers. Over 60% of the ingredients in Equal Plates meals come directly from local farmers, including veggies, fruit, eggs, grain and meat. These nourishing meals are shared with groups like Homeward Bound, United Way and Buncombe Partnership for Children to meet nutritional needs and create space for people to gather, break bread, and build community.
