Musical groups for all ages are beginning soon! There are a number of new groups starting this year, so check them out and see what might be a good fit for you. We hope you’ll join us! Contact Jeremy Roberts for more information of if you have any questions.
Chancel Choir: Rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Sings at the 11:00 am service and other special services throughout the year. Choir In-House Retreat Aug. 25 and 26. First regular rehearsal Wednesday, Aug. 30th.
Youth Choir: Youth in grades 6-12. First rehearsal is Sunday, Sept. 10. Regular rehearsals each Sunday from 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm. Then go directly to dinner and youth group!
Children’s Choirs: Children in grades K-5. Cherub Choir (K-2) is directed by Kim Thomas. Choristers (3-5) is directed by Jeremy Roberts. We often collaborate and sing together in worship. Both choirs meet on Wednesdays: Rolling drop off for dinner beginning at 5:15 pm. Rehearsal is from 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm. Childcare for younger siblings is provided.
Bell Choir: New this Fall! Bell Choir will be open to adults as well as middle school and high school youth. This group will be directed by Garrett Scholberg and will rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm. The option of dinner at 5:15 pm will be available as well! The group will ring in worship about once a month. We need to create a roster of folks for ringing, so please email Jeremy Roberts if you are interested. First rehearsal is Wednesday, Sept. 6.
First Notes: New this Fall! First Notes will be a choral group for our 8:45 am Chapel service. This group will not have a weekday rehearsal, but will meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 8:00 am to learn a special piece of music for that day’s 8:45 am service. Our first gathering will be Sunday, Sept. 10.
Preschool Singers: New this Fall! Each Sunday from 9:50 am – 10:05 am, all preschool children on the Godly Play hall will gather with Jeremy Roberts for a time of singing and musical fun. The children may sing in worship periodically as they are able.
